Star events

Stars spawn on a 600 second server timer, which ticks up to 4x faster while ActivityBoost is high. Each spawn has a 1 in 100 chance of being a Hyper Star instead of a Lucky Star.

Collecting one pays you directly and rolls an event for the whole server.

Star Direct payout to the collector
Lucky 100 x RejoinMultiplier XP
Hyper 5 000 x RejoinMultiplier XP

Weights are relative within each column. A dash means that event cannot roll for that star type.

Event Lucky weight Hyper weight Lucky effect Hyper effect
IdleXPBoost 5 5 +2x server XP +10x server XP
ActivityBoost 5 5 +10 activity +100 activity
BonusXP 5 180 s of idle XP to everyone
NoobSpawn 5 4 one NPC at avgMulti x 200 x RNG one at avgMulti x 350 000 x RNG
OrbRain 4.5 200 orbs across the whole map
NoobVanish 2 every NPC turns into an orb
SpawnABunchOfNoobs 1.5 1.5 4 to 7 NPCs at avgMulti x 50 x RNG a larger batch
ThreeStars / Spawn10 1 1.75 3 more Lucky Stars 10 more Lucky Stars
SacrificeBoost 1 1.1x rejoin multiplier gain for an hour
Spawn2Hypers 0.25 2 more Hyper Stars
  • NoobVanish (Lucky only) instantly converts every living NPC into orbs. On a busy server near the 40-NPC cap this is the single biggest one-shot payout a Lucky Star can produce.
  • OrbRain (Hyper only) is 200 orbs at once, scaled by the server’s average rejoin multiplier. It is the biggest immediate payout on the Hyper table.
  • SacrificeBoost (Hyper only) multiplies GlobalRejoinBoost by 1.1x for a full hour, and it stacks with itself. Every rejoin the whole server makes in that window is worth more, so it is the roll to build a chain around.
  • ActivityBoost looks small and is not: ActivityBoost feeds both idle XP and the RNG roll, so +100 activity raises the value of everything that happens next.
  • Spawn2Hypers is a 0.25-weight reroll into two more Hyper Stars.

The Wish ability (Tier 43) spawns a Lucky Star on demand, with a 3 % chance of a Hyper Star instead, on a 600 second cooldown. That is the only player-controlled star source.
